A wide, Blue Flag sandy beach with full amenities including lifeguards, disabled access, volleyball nets and beachfront bars. Great for families and sun-seekers.

Getting Around

Orihuela Costa is spread out along the coast, so a rental car is recommended to move between the different beaches and commercial areas. Local buses run between Torrevieja and Pilar de la Horadada, but service is limited outside summer.

Family Tip

The sheltered coves at Cabo Roig are ideal for young children — shallow, calm water with easy rock-pooling. La Zenia Boulevard has a cinema, bowling and indoor play areas for rainy days (rare as they are).

Best Time to Visit

Year-round sunshine with over 320 clear days. Summer (June–September) is perfect for beaches. Spring and autumn are ideal for golf and coastal walks without the heat. Winter stays mild at 15–18°C.
