IMED Hospitales Benidorm is a large private hospital in the centre. Hospital Marina Baixa (public) in Villajoyosa is 10 minutes away. A massive year-round social scene — British social clubs, Scandinavian societies, karaoke, live music, sports teams, language exchanges and volunteer organisations. The Levante beachfront and Old Town tapas bars are natural meeting points. Benidorm never feels quiet, even in winter.
Insider Tip
For long-term living, look at Poniente over Levante — it's quieter, has wider pavements, better parks, and rents are typically €50–100/month lower for equivalent properties. The old town is charming but can be noisy on weekend nights.
