The 18-hole, par-72 championship course winds through the hillside with views of the salt lakes and, on clear days, the Mediterranean. It is well-maintained, challenging enough for experienced players, and welcoming to beginners and social players.

The commercial areas around the Quesada roundabout and along Avenida de las Naciones have supermarkets (Mercadona, Aldi, Iceland), pharmacies, banks, medical centres, dental clinics, restaurants, bars and hairdressers. There is a popular Saturday morning market.

For larger shopping, hospitals and specialist services, Torrevieja is 15 minutes south by car. The Hospital Universitario de Torrevieja is the nearest A&E and specialist hospital. Guardamar del Segura’s beaches are 10 minutes east. The AP-7 motorway is 10 minutes away, giving fast access to Alicante airport (40 minutes) and Murcia airport (30 minutes).

The pace of life in Ciudad Quesada is deliberately relaxed. This is a place where people potter in the garden in the morning, play golf or walk the hills at midday, and meet friends for a long lunch or early evening drinks at one of the local restaurants. The crime rate is extremely low, and the community is friendly and watchful.
